If you’ve never hired a catamaran in the Whitsundays before, you might be wondering what is included with the hire. All vessels come with an inflatable dinghy with outboard motor for ease of access to the many beaches. All vessels are also fully equipped with linen. This includes, sheets, pillows, pillowcases, blankets, towels and tea towels. There is a fully equipped galley with all crockery and cutlery and also a gas deck BBQ. Think of your Whitsunday catamaran as a fully self contained apartment.
First aid kits, adult lifejackets and wet weather gear are provided so your safety is also taken care of.
All navigation equipment including charts, depth and wind/speed instruments are included. Most vessels also have chart plotters and there is a copy of the Whitsunday cruising guide ‘100 Magic Miles’ onboard each vessel.
Other inclusions may be inverters for 240 volt power, TV and DVD, solar panels, ipod connection and snorkelling gear.
Your Whitsunday catamaran will be topped up with water and fuel prior to departure and you generally just need to top the fuel up when you return and pay for what you’ve used.
